陈可
Chen Ke
1978 年出生于四川通江，现生活工作于北京。2002 年获四川美术学院油画系文学学士学位，2005 年获得油画系硕士学位。2012 年起，陈可开始以历史图片中的真实人物为创作对象。从弗里达到梦露，她通过对这些人物，尤其是女性在社会中处境的解读，表达了她对现实生活的感受及对时间和生活的体验。2018 年，陈可在上海余德耀美术馆举办个展 “和爸爸聊天才是正经事”，她通过一系列混合媒介的绘画及装置作品，讨论了青春、个性、家庭及年龄等议题。
近期个展包括：“包豪斯女孩 / 房间”（贝浩登画廊，上海，2021）；“无名女艺术家”（C5CNM 空间，北京，2020）；“和爸爸聊天才是正经事”（余德耀美术馆，上海，2018～2019）；“梦・露”（贝浩登画廊，香港，2016）；“密林：陈可近作展”（星空间，北京，2015）等。近期群展包括：“I Feel the Way You Feel”（贝浩登画廊，上海，2023）；“看我（肖像群展）”（贝浩登画廊，巴黎，2022）；首届北京艺术双年展（2022）；“余德耀基金中国当代艺术精选”（洛杉矶郡立艺术博物馆，2021）；“信使”（贝浩登画廊，上海，2020）；“投票”（CLC 画廊，北京，2020）；“雨滴的阅读：西部艺术家文献展”（银川当代美术馆，2017）；“中国私语：乌利・希克收藏展”（伯尔尼美术馆，瑞士，2016）；“她们：国际女性艺术特展”（龙美术馆，上海，2016）。陈可的作品被众多具有影响力的个人、企业和美术馆收藏，如 Franks-Suss Collection（伦敦）、BSI Art Collection（瑞士卢加诺）、乌利・希克收藏（瑞士）、白兔基金会（悉尼）、龙美术馆（上海）、余德耀美术馆（上海）、深圳美术馆（深圳）及民生现代美术馆（上海）等。
Born in Tongjiang, Sichuan, 1978, Chen Ke currently lives and works in Beijing. She graduated from the Department of Oil Painting, Sichuan Fine Arts Institute with a Bachelor of Arts in 2002, and an MA in 2005. Since 2012, Chen has started a new approach taking the real people in historical pictures as her objects. Adopting archetypes like Frida Kahlo, Marilyn Monroe and other women figures, as well as the interpretation of women’s situation in society, she tries to express her feelings about reality and her experience of time and life. In 2018, she held a solo exhibition named Talking To Dad Is Serious Business at Yuz Museum in Shanghai, through a series of mixed-media paintings and installations, to discuss the motifs of youth, personality, family and age.

Recent group exhibitions include: “I Feel the Way You Feel” (Perrotin, Shanghai, 2023), “REGARDE-MOI” (Perrotin, Paris, 2022), The First Beijing Art Biennale (Beijing, 2022), “Legacies of Exchange: Chinese Contemporary Art from the Yuz Foundation” (Los Angeles County Museum of Art, 2021), “MESSENGER” (Perrotin, Shanghai, 2020), “Casting Votes” (CLC Gallery Venture, Beijing, 2020), “Wandering Reading: Western Artists Documentary Exhibition” (MOCA, Yinchuan, 2017), “CHINESE WHISPERS RECENT ART FROM THE SIGG & M+ SIGG COLLECTIONS” (Kunstmuseum Bern, Switzerland, 2016), “She: International Women Artists Exhibition” (Long Museum, Shanghai, 2016). Chen’s works has been recognized and collected by many influential collectors, companies and museums, such as Franks-Suss Collection (London), BSI Art Collection (Lugano, Switzerland), Uli Sigg Collection (Switzerland), White Rabbit Collection (Sydney, Australia), Long Museum (Shanghai), Yuz Museum (Shanghai), Shenzhen Art Museum (Shenzhen) and Minsheng Art Museum (Shanghai).
