刘慧德（1987 年生于奥克兰）现生活工作于纽约与澳门。她于 2008 年毕业于纽约大学，获艺术学士学位，主修版画与素描。
刘慧德从古代神话和道家哲学取得灵感，透过陶瓷创作提出另类的时间和空间形态，并借着仪式、哀悼和记忆来引入生成式的离散视角。

Heidi Lau (b. 1987, Oakland) lives and works in New York and Macau. She received her BFA from New York University in 2008, where she primarily studied printmaking and drawing.
Drawing on ancient mythology and Taoist philosophy, Lau proposes alternate configurations of time and space through her ceramic practice, channelling generative diasporic perspectives through ritual, grief, and memory.

In 2019, Lau presented Apparition for the Macau-China Collateral Exhibition at the 58th Venice Biennale. Lau recently was awarded the Sigg Prize 2025 at M+, Hong Kong for her large-scale ceramic sculptural installation Pavilion Procession.
