Pan Daijing (b. 1991, Guiyang) is an artist and composer who primarily engages with sound, performance, installation, choreography and film in her practice. She currently lives and works in Berlin.

Pan’s practice is situated at the intersection of visual art and music. Influenced by improvisation and narrative elements, her works often have a performative starting point, though they move far beyond this in terms of their impact. They evince the artist’s intensely psychological sense of space.

Pan Daijing has exhibited her works at numerous international art institutions, including the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis (2025); Haus der Kunst, Munich (2024); Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart, Berlin (2024); the Louvre, Paris (2023); Tai Kwun Contemporary, Hong Kong (2021); Gropius Bau, Berlin (2020); and Tate Modern, London (2019). Her works have also been featured in the 14th Gwangju Biennale (2023), the 13th Shanghai Biennale (2021), and the Biennale of Moving Image, Geneva (2018), among others.

Pan has performed at numerous venues and festivals including the Barbican Centre, London; Kraftwerk, Berlin; Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg; Berghain, Berlin; Sonar Festival, Barcelona; Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin; and the National Pantheon, Lisbon. She has released three full-length albums: Tissues (2022), Jade (2021), and Lack(2017).

Pan Daijing is the recipient of the Preis der Nationalgalerie (2024). She was also shortlisted for the M+ Sigg Prize 2025.
